Question. What is the age of becoming an adult?
Answer. A female's age is at least nine and at the most fifteen years. A male?s age is at least twelve and fifteen years at the most. It is necessary to believe a fifteen year old as an adult according to Shari?ah whether or not they show signs of adulthood. Whether a person is a male or a female, once they reach the age of adolescence, all Salaah and fasts will become obligatory on them. Girls and boys should sleep apart from the age of ten.
